Do You Play Nice With Others?

Social interaction is a big part of marketing online. Do you play nice with others? Wouldn't it be nice if when you wrote a blog post or an article you received a large quantity of comments? Think about it. You post and people comment, meaning they actually read your post. How exciting!

Do you play nice with others? When you read someone else's posts, do you comment? Not only does it make the writer feel good, it is a very good way of getting your name out there as a person who will reciprocate comments. By leaving a comment, you are now INTERACTING with the writer and the other readers. This is a great way to show you are active in your niche and do a little Self Branding, at the same time.

Most blogs allow you to leave your name with a hyperlink to a site of your choice. This is another tool you can use to link to your own posts or websites. Again, Branding.

It is time to start leaving comments on all the content you read. Side note - don't just say "Great Post, I enjoyed it." Take the time to leave a legitimate comment about what you just read. This type of action will be appreciated by the writer, as well as the other readers. Now, get out there and play nice with others.

  1. As always Catherine, you have written an outstanding and truthful post. You are in a league of your own and I sure am happy I have found you on the networking cyberworld. You have always given me suggestions when I asked for them and has made my short two month journey a most pleasurable, motivational and inspirational one.
