Have you ever noticed once you start a new project how quickly time flys? My Momma always said "The older you get the faster time goes by." Of course, she is right, as usual. As I started my new project, I realized to accomplish my goal, this is going to be a time consuming monster. But, that is okay because I am really excited about this project.
What is my new project? I am developing a new website with marketing tools and strategies for the beginner and the experienced marketer. I can hear you screaming....Why, there are thousands of those sites out there? Maybe, maybe not.
First, let me say I decided to develop this site after several people have emailed me for marketing advice. It seemed I kept putting the same information down, time and time again, as a response to questions being asked. This way I will be able to, in the long run, save myself time and effort and still be helpful to those in need.
Second, I am going to try to make this information very easy to understand. I plan on including some Instructional Videos which always helps me to understand when starting something new. I want to provide enough valuable content that a new or experienced marketer can find something to help with their personal marketing strategy.
Finally, as a founding Entrepreneur at Peoplestring, I am constantly being asked how do I get new referrals. I plan on providing the exact techniques and strategies I use to help build my on-line business. If you view all the information I provide, you will be able to set up your own marketing strategy with ease.
As this is a work in progress, I have been hesitant to provide the link for this new website. I want to be sure there is enough information available today which will keep you coming back for more tomorrow. I guess this is my new baby. Payday At Peoplestring
Payday is always a Happy Day. I received my 7th payment from the social network Peoplestring today. What a great program this has turned out to be. Often when you join a program you never really know what to expect. I can tell you from experience, Peoplestring delivers.
I started out as a FREE member of Peoplestring. At the time they were offering a chance to upgrade and become an Entrepreneur. I had been looking for a way to supplement my income. So, I went to a couple of the informational webinars and I decided to upgrade a month later. This is a decision I do not regret. Sometimes an opportunity sounds better than it really is but this experience just keeps getting better.

Pre-Launch Events
If you do any on-line marketing at all, you have been exposed to the announcement of a PRE-LAUNCH EVENT. As a matter of fact, it seems there is something in pre-launch every other day. I do a lot of surfing and safe list marketing and the constant exposure to a pre-launch event has taken the excitement out of it. Well, at least that is what I used to think.
Guess what? My primary business, Peoplestring, is having a pre-launch event. Wow, this changes everything. You can feel the anticipation, from the other members, on the site. This is, actually, a very fun and a very exciting time.
I have never participated in a pre-launch before so I did not know what to expect. Now I can see why there are so many individuals out there promoting a launch for their specific company. This is EXCITING! I think the way Peoplestring is promoting this is fantastic. First stage of pre-launch was available only to the Peoplestring members. That's it. You had to be a member of Peoplestring to hear anything about this promotion. This ended on July 5th.
Now, the second stage of pre-launch has began. The members of Peoplestring are to very gently and discretely start putting the word out. There is a big news coming for the company. The company will be starting a division called Reward String. What is Reward String? *Realizing that there is an exploding industry of Social Games and Mobile Applications; PeopleString Corporation needed a mechanism to allow the many developers an enticement to use our system to launch and/or maintain the use of their games and applications. PeopleString would then be able to use these games and these applications to recruit and drive traffic to “The String”. What Reward String will provide to these developers is the database management they need to fulfill their rewards program.* In other words, Peoplestring is providing a mechanism for its members to be able to capitalize on the social gaming industry, as well as, many other opportunities in the future.

Holiday Marketing - Explode Your Business
How do the holidays affect an on-line marketer? I think the answer to this could be complicated or simple, depending you your perspective. Let's examine a couple of reasons the holidays can help you explode your business.
On a holiday like the 4th of July, I would imagine most people will spend some time with their family and friends. A lot of this time will be spent outside or vacationing. So what can you do to market your business during a holiday when there are fewer people spending time on-line? Now is the perfect time to do some writing. Yes, the dreaded writing. It seems this is the one task most on-line marketers neglect. It has been proven that writing articles, blogs, forum posts and more can help build your business. But, for some people, writing is the last thing they want to do. This is the perfect time to "catch up" on your writing. As a matter of fact, write some extra articles and blog posts and file them away for future use. Use this time to hone your ability to express yourself and influence your followers. Writing is a craft. Find your particular writing style and master it.
This is, also, a great time to set up an auto responder campaign. There are a lot of programs out there that use the copy and paste method for auto responders. Set yourself apart from the rest by writing an auto responder campaign that would peak your interest. Write about what you would want to know about your specific business. Promote yourself as well as your business. I can not think of a better way to make yourself "stand out" than by having an auto responder campaign that grabs the reader. Now is the perfect time to set this up.

Tutorial Video Series
I would be the first to admit I started this journey of marketing on the Internet with not much knowledge. As I have investigated programs, I learn, not only about the specific program, but about how they have done their marketing. It is very interesting to watch different people and companies go about their daily business.
There is not one right way to market a business. As Carol Cash says, you need to develop "Layers of Marketing". At this point, I would like to thank many people who have helped me become the marketer that I am today: Chris Plourde, Sherri Kirklin, Dr. Lenny Coco, Peter Plourde, Vince Reed, Chase Swift and Warren Contreras. These people are some of the most successful marketers I know personally. Some, I know better than others but they all are there to help. And, you know what? They are just people. People like you and me. People who want to succeed online and develop a nice residual income. These are the people whose ideas I have taken and molded in to my own personal style of marketing. As I mentioned, there is not one right way. I have found strengths and weakness in each of these people. I am hoping I can take the best of what they have taught me and become a master marketer myself.
The last few days I have been doing a lot of studying and thinking about marketing. The one key that all of these people teach is to train. Offer training to anyone and everyone who asks for your help. This is something I want to make top priority. So, over the next few days I am going to set up an auto responder training system. I am planning on setting up a system which you can apply to for FREE and then receive one training video each day. This will take me some time to record the videos and set up the specific training tools. But, I think this is important and I want to invest most of my time to this effort and get it started. I am sure this is one of those projects that will continue to grow. There is a never ending supply of good marketing materials on the Internet.
For now, I have started uploading some videos to my YouTube Channel- Catherine D. White. If you want to get a jump on training, you can go to my channel and watch what I have posted.

Can You Succeed In Affiliate Marketing?
What is affiliate marketing? According to Wikipedia: "Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliates marketing efforts." In other words, you market a product for someone else and are then compensated when the product is used or purchased. This is a way for one person to build Multiple Income Streams without any or a minimal out of pocket expense. Can You Succeed In Affiliate Marketing? Here are some points to consider when choosing a program that is right for you.
Most companies do offer free memberships with an affiliate program. There is, also, usually an option to upgrade where as an affiliate you will make a higher percentage commission. Many programs even reward the affiliate through several levels. There are several things I look for when checking out affiliate marketing programs. As I am a beginning marketer, the cost of the program is always a primary focus - How much will it cost me to participate as an affiliate? As I mentioned, most programs offer a free affiliate a lesser commission than they do the paid members. What is the difference in the commission pay out and would it be worth my while to upgrade? This is where I look for a One Time - Lifetime Membership Fee. There are many programs that are now offering this option and if it is affordable, I will jump on this Lifetime Membership. You can't beat pay one time and continue to get paid for Life.
The next thing I look for is the compensation percentage level the company is paying to its affiliates. A standard good rate is 50% and anything above that is really good. On the other hand, anything below that is probably not worth your time. Remember, you are the one doing the marketing for this company and you should be rewarded for your time and effort.
More important compensation information is how many levels does the company pay its affiliates? If you can find a company which pays through 5 to 10 levels, you have found yourself a great money making opportunity. If you can use the power of numbers to leverage yourself in the marketing world, your success can be unbridled.
One more thing which is very important when deciding what affiliate program to market. Will you be paid one time or will you earn a monthly residual income from your marketing efforts. Of course, earning a monthly residual income should be your primary goal. LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN: EARNING A MONTHLY RESIDUAL INCOME SHOULD BE YOUR PRIMARY GOAL. That is what all online marketers are trying to accomplish. Work hard today and get paid for your efforts tomorrow and beyond.

F5M Club
Last week I was introduced to a company that has been around for 16 years. While surfing the traffic exchanges, I had seen the company splash pages but really hadn't paid any attention to them. I was introduced to the company by a fellow Peoplestringer, Warren Contreras. I have communicated with Warren in the forums at Peoplestring and have always found him to be analytical in his thinking. Warren sent me a brief direct message asking me if I would be interested in a $5 opportunity which could eventually build in to a nice income. Since this message was coming from Warren, it did peak my interest.
The company F5M Club has been around for 16 years. They are ranked in the Alexa rankings as one of the top 48,000 sites in the world and top 25,000 in the USA. (If you don't know what Alexa rankings are read this Article.) Other than mentioning it would only cost $5, there was no other information given out by Warren at this time. I replied to Warren and told him sure I would take a look. In his second communication, after I asked for information, was when he included a link directly to the sign up page of the $5 level. (Bronze) Well, as we all know, you can drop $5 pretty easily these days so I thought what the heck. I have taken the plunge to see where it will lead.
After viewing some of the information, I realized that Warren's marketing strategy is brilliant for this opportunity. By making personal contact with a few highly targeted people, his conversion rate is 7 out of 10. That is 70% which is unheard of in the networking business. I am following his lead and sending out personal messages to colleagues in different areas. I have received a 50% conversion rate. Not as good as Warrens but still a great rate in networking.
By using his good reputation at Peoplestring, Warren has converted some highly qualified people. This should be a lesson to everyone in marketing. First, it takes time to develop relationships and gain respect. Second, don't just blast your links at everyone, send out teasers and leave them wanting more information.
