Thumbvu - Thumb Nail Surfing

I started using Thumbvu to create some traffic to my sites over 6 months ago. I really like this traffic exchange site. It is quite a unique surfing style compared to other traffic exchange sites. They have what they call thumb nail surfing. This is how it works, instead of just randomly having a new site come up each time, you will receive 3 thumb nails in the upper left hand corner of your screen. This is a thumb nail impression of 3 different site. You then click on the thumb nail of the site you want to view next. This is a unique concept you will only find at Thumbvu. The fact the viewer has picked your site increases the chances they will take action on the pages they view.

What else is quite valuable at Thumbvu is the ability to connect with other members via their social media sites. Thumbvu has integrated your profile with the ability to list the other social media sites you use. You can update your profile and other members of Thumbvu can connect with you via those social media sites. I have made some valuable contacts by sending friend invites to others who are members at Thumbvu.

Another feature of Thumbvu is the ability to surf from your mobile devices. Now you can surf anywhere, anytime that is convenient for your. I don't know of any other traffic exchange that allows you to do that.

All and all, it is still one of my favorite traffic exchanges to use on a daily basis. The owner John Guanzon has is ear to the ground and listens to what the membership base is saying. My Personal Journey Continues

Today is October 12, 2010. It is a beautiful day here in southern Illinois. I thought this would be a good day to open the windows and reflect on my journey over the last 11 months. I started looking for something to help me earn some extra cash online at the end of last year. I have found some good programs, some bad programs, some idiotic programs and some fantastic programs. If you look hard enough, you can find something which fits you and your personality.

With that said, I like to find programs you can join for free or for a very small investment. I like knowing what I am going to lose if the program fails. That is why you won't see me joining any money making program which has a monthly monetary commitment. I have been there and done that. All I had to show for it at the end was a big credit card bill. Lesson Learned. Let me point out here, there are some tools I use which have a monthly fee. These are not my businesses but can be promoted as an affiliate income opportunity. This is something totally different. I don't use these tools for the affiliate income but for the advantages they give me in promoting my business. I have learned that some online marketers make their career out of promoting the tools. Kudos to them and their ingenuity. I do occasionally get a referral to these programs, to me this is just a way to get the tool for free.

The sun has gone behind a cloud and you can feel the fall air. There is no place I would rather be right now. I feel the same about my online marketing career. I am situated in the perfect place with some great opportunities ahead of me. I am a happy online marketer. You Quit - You Fail

Today I was listening to some of the top leaders of Peoplestring put on a great webinar. It reminded me of one of the oldest but sometimes forgotten slogans: "The only way to fail is to QUIT".

In today's society we have become accustomed to wanting things now. That is why so many programs try to lure you in with the promise of large sums of money in a short period of time. You know what? These don't work. They just don't. Sure it is possible to lure people in and take their money with the promise of riches but that is not good business. As a matter of fact, most of the time the person who developed the idea is the only one who make any money at all. So, if someone offers you a large sum of money for doing little work, run in the other direction. All they want is your money now. Okay, I am done ranting, let me get back on the subject of quitting to fail.

If you find a good program, it is going to require some work to succeed. Yes, the 4 letter word W-O-R-K! How much work totally depends on you. What are your goals? How fast do you want to reach these goals? Are you easily sidetracked?

I have made it quite clear to everyone who I come in contact with on a daily basis that Peoplestring is my main business. It is not my only business, but it is my main business focus. Why? Because I believe the only way to FAIL with this company is to QUIT! Peoplestring is continuing to evolve in to a company of the future. I truly believe Peoplestring is going to make several average people Millionaires. It's not going to happen in the next 30 days. It will probably take a few years to develop the type of string needed to gain a substantial residual income. My plan is to keep plugging along, building my string, watching the company grow, and earning some extra income. In the long run the only way for me to FAIL is to QUIT. I am not quitting.
